Let’s be honest, we all love movies.
So why not create them in your own classroom?
iMovie has been around for a long time. We knew it was popular among upper primary students but didn’t know how we could make it ‘fit’ within classroom.
After taking the time to play with some of the functions, we were hooked, as were our students.
We don’t ‘teach’ apps to our students, learning their functions is incidental. We share tips and tricks with our students as we are discussing the task and allow time for them to discover it for themselves. It really is one of the easiest apps to use. Choose your clip then drag and drop. Yes, you can get more complex and creative but the smallest effort really does create impact.
We recently presented at the 2 day MyLearning Melbourne iPad Conference on one of our favourite presentation apps, iMovie. Watch the video we shared with the participants below to see a snapshot of how we use this app in our classrooms.
