Communication with parents and sharing student learning is vital to a happy home-school partnership.
Along with our class blogs, we have many different avenues to communicate and share the happenings from within our classroom. meTV folders are one example of how we engage parents in student learning.
meTV folders are displayed outside our classrooms, featuring a QR code which links to individual folders created in Dropbox or additional links. Work here is updated regularly and displays learning from across various curriculum areas, a range of apps and even photographs of hand written work.
This means students and teachers can upload work which can then be shared and easily viewed by parents. By having meTV folders with the QR code outside classrooms and in the corridors, parents can drop children off quickly, scan a code and continue on their way.
